The cold weather is really moving in now. Hope you all are staying warm!
One of the Things to Do this Sunday is to go to the Southern and listen to Will Overman play songs from his new album. Will was actually a camp councilor of mine when I was maybe 12. He used to play music to my cabin before bedtime.
I would say what type of music he plays, but I am not sure how to actually describe it? Might be best to give it a listen and see if you like it.

Glass Ornament-Blowing Workshop!
This week, master glassblower Chip Hall from Raging Buffalo Glass is hosting glass ornament-blowing workshops to benefit Second Street Gallery.
Come behind the scenes at the McGuffey Art Center to blow your own holiday ornament with colors and design of your choice using molten glass, creativity, and of course expert guidance from the Raging Buffalo Glass team.
The three workshop sessions are as follows:
Friday, November 14th from 3:00-8:00pm
Saturday, November 15th from 12:00-8:00pm
Sunday, November 16th from 12:00-6:00pm
Appointments start at $50 and support Second Street Gallery.

Loving Cup Vineyard & Winery, North Garden - Enjoy some wine while stargazing. There will be some great celestial bodies in view including Saturn, the Andromeda and Pinwheel Galaxies, and more. 8pm - 11pm. More info. (this event was planed for a few weeks ago but was rescheduled to today)
Sunday - 16th
WriterHouse, Charlottesville - A workshop for writers wanting to learn the full revisions process with strategies that can save you time. 1pm - 3pm. More info.
The Southern, Charlottesville - Will Overman is returning to Charlottesville, this time for the tour of his new album Stranger. He is joined by Richmond based band Holy Roller. 7pm more info here and tickets here.
Monday - 17th
Hunter Smith Band Building, Charlottesville - UVA’s 45-member wind ensemble’s fall concert featuring outstanding brass, woodwind, and percussion players. 7:30pm - 8:30pm. Details.
